the unprecedented monsoon climate has large areas of Pakistan under the water and people displaced about 20 million, while landslides of land have destroyed entire villages and cities in China. Russia is one of the 16 countries that have declared 2010 the hottest summer ever and facing the loss up to one third of their wheat crop.
Hige a piece of ice has broken away from Greenland, while Niger is suffering from hunger and once again loss of their crops.
2010 only a summer is isolated and end?
It is not really if you look back over the last decade and remember S Asia tsunami in December 2004, the hurricane that destroyed much of New Orleans, the great earthquakes in China and Haiti, flooding in the Irrawaddy delta, Indonesia, and massive fires in the dry climate in Greece and elsewhere in Europe because of the dry, hot summers.
For the British infants in the environment defender Lewis Pugh, who was recently interviewed by Riz Khan, the television channel Al Jazeera, there is no doubt that the entire planet is at risk.
It This is a man who has swum the oceans, through the North Pole, where there was ice, and the Himalayas to highlight what is happening – and says he has himself witnessed the changes that are happening, even in the remotest parts of the planet, not just once but every time he returns to these places.
He has no doubt that the situation is urgent and of such paramount importance that all governments should put it on top of their agendas.
However, is no longer the pessimism about the possibility of agreement on measures on global warming climate summit due next November in Cancun, Mexico.
U.S. Jonathan Pershing's chief negotiator is quoted in a BBC article online at August 7, saying that many developed countries are giving up back on the progress made in Copenhagen in December.
He also warned that extreme weather events this summer and were "consistent with the type of changes can be expected from climate change "and that we must act quickly.
All this is putting even greater pressure on our capabilities to advance the production of enough food – at affordable prices – to do something about the scandalous situation in which more than one billion people the world suffer from malnutrition if not outright starvation.
Of course, for some, everything is just another money making opportunity. Speculators in commodity markets must be rubbing their hands with joy expensive care in the fortunes to be made by pushing up the price of staples like wheat. Well, no money through sub-prime mortgages and hoping any investor return on investment.
There have, however, been some bright spots in news of the week.

The sad thing is that governments too often continue to rely on old and discredited methods certainly pull their countries out of recession.

Is it a bad idea to visit Cairns in February?
I go to learn to dive, do some diving on the Great Barrier Reef, and then make a tree pm to the Daintree rainforest. Unfortunately, in February (next week) is the only time you can save a week – honestly, how bad is the weather at this time of year? Will it be raining heavily most of the time, making the boat trip was canceled as a result and are unswimmable waters?
If you've been following the weather report in the north, places such as Ingham, traction and therefore I suppose parts would also be flooded.February Cairns is the rainy season in the north and this year these poor people have copped the floods and bad weather in a bad way.I would say that if you want to save the trouble of going there then do not deliver this time.Probably diving is not going to be fine because the rain would be very poor.Due visibility to the amount of rain one more thing that must be taken into account Dengue is fever.Plus not forget that February is still box jelly fish season too.
