Landscape photography in New Zealand
New Zealand is a beautiful country and a dream for any photographer. Capturing images of landscapes imposing and beautiful is not hard for a trip to New Zealand, but with a few tips a photographer every day can produce some very impressive images.
New Zealand landscapes can change tremendously from one region to another. It is best to choose your travel route based on what kind of scenario you want to capture. When planning your journey through New Zealand's first question to consider is what you want to visit the island. The landscapes of the North Island and South can be very different.
The North Island is generally softer and less dramatic than the South Island. The North Island is full of a lot of green hills, forested mountains and beaches abundant. The Northland region is a picturesque example of such a characteristic geography of New Zealand. The area is best seen after two Discovery Coast Highway, north of Auckland. The route takes you near the Bay of Islands and Goat Island, which are amazing scenes for anyone interested in the sea and photography Beach. The path may lead to the tip of New Zealand at Cape Reinga, which provides visitors with interesting opportunities to photograph huge sand dunes and shock the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean. You can take photos with dramatic success of the entire Northland region, even in bad weather, with strong features geographical area pending its own unique presence on cloudy or rainy days.
Out of the Northland, East Cape North Island is perhaps one of the most picturesque areas of New Zealand. The region is best experienced through the adoption of the Eastland section of the Pacific Coast Highway. The unit can be seen as a compressed photo tour of New Zealand rocky outcrop with beaches, smooth and long sandy beaches, gently rolling mountains, the snow reached steep mountains, small villages, towns, farms, forests, together with the longest pier in the southern hemisphere.
For some, the South Island can be a more photographic travel destination in the North, since it is much more dramatic and varied, but time and travel time requires more patience and commitment the individual. It is perhaps easier to think of the South Island as a few different areas with different characteristics and styles of photography.
Side The northern island is full of beaches, bays and sounds. The weather is much better, in general, and some of the sunniest in New Zealand, which is perfect for shots of the sunset and sunrise by the water.
The east coast of South Island is very dramatic, from the steep rock Kaikora rocky beaches, the perfectly round stones isolated from Moeraki. As with the lands of the northern North Island, you can take photos of powerful East Coast weather, with the powerful storm complement clouds often irregular terrain features.
Turning west at any point on the east coast will take you to the center of South Island Southern Alps. This area is blessed with high snow peaked mountains, and then breath views. It is advisable to take a polarizing filter camera, and wait for the whole time course, as the resource areas are often found in expansive landscapes.
The West Coast is more tenuous than the coast East by land that is more reminiscent of the North Island. But the area also boasts the world famous Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier, where you can see a wall of pressing ice directly into a forest.
