Costa Rica vacation with children
My first time to Costa Rica was a small child with my parents and two brothers. I tell you, that's good for kids! What child does not love watching wildlife, active volcanoes, forests and beaches? Parents have a good time with these activities and learning about the culture of the country, but it is the best thing to put their children to bed shortly after the exhausting out in the field of Costa Rica throughout the day.
Most demanding children enjoy cooking Costa Rica, since it is abundant, but simple. Beans, rice, grilled chicken and beef are staples in the diet of Costa Rica. Most restaurants do not offer special meals for children, although some hotels do it. Ask restaurants to accommodate child-sized portions or have their sons split a meal. Bring snacks for long journeys in remote areas because sometimes there is nowhere to stop. Some delicious kid-friendly drinks are smoothies (fresh juice mixed) with water or milk, horchata (cinnamon rice milk enriched), or coconut milk. If traveling with a baby, stock up on formula, baby food, diapers, baby aspirin, and creams for babies in San Jose or bring them home.
Families can go almost anywhere in Costa Rica and be very happy. Even the capital, San José, has attractions for children, but I recommend leaving the city and the green earth. Take your kids:
