It is the Democrats Cap and Trade and Climate Change dead on arrival?
The New York Times reports that "the United Nations Adaptation Fund, which officially began operation in 2008 to help poor countries to fund projects to mitigate the effects of global warming remains a shell empty, in large part because rich countries have not come through donations promised. "The fund has a laughable $ 18 million, which could not cover the cost of the Copenhagen conference. Besides China and India has pledged to withdraw from the meeting in Copenhagen set for December 7, 2009.
This idea is not more than a disaster and will accomplish nothing, but at double the rates paid by consumers of electricity and to heat their homes. It is political gimmick that will do nothing to solve anything and only make you more and more people teeter on the brink of insolvency. The idea that somehow have to pay for the costs of developing nations to pollute the atmosphere is absurd at first glance. This is a plan that should be killed once and for all. Add the cost of this to the costs of socializing health plans and consumers in the U.S. there was a fatal death blow. U.S. Congress has gone absolutely crazy when it comes to spending money and throw it all away. U.S. should not sign this treaty.
