The wild animal park in San Diego

The Wild Animal Park is one of the best places to see animals in San Diego, other than the San Diego Zoo. Spread in an amazing 1800 hectares, the animals have ample space to play and wander in the animal park. The vision of the animals playing in the park as they would in its natural habitat almost convinces you that you observe them in their native Asia and Africa.

The animal park has a reputation of having saved many species endangered animals from extinction almost sure. During his thirty years of the animal park has seen a dramatic increase in the number animals that were once considered endangered species. Currently, all wild Arabian Oryx Oryx are descendants of Arabs who have been raised and fed into the Wild Animal Park.

Visitors can choose to walk through one of the many trails in the parks and observe the smaller animals. Although this is a delightful experience in itself, more yet to come when you pass the Bush train line. This exciting journey of one-hour train while offering the unique opportunity to see rarely seen animals such as rhino and white rhino in the wild.

Summer is a popular time for people to visit the zoo. A record of ten to fifteen thousand visitors throng to the zoo on a typical summer day, so it is best to be there early to avoid long waiting lines. In winter, the zoo is not as crowded, with an average of 2,000 visitors. In summer it is ideal for walking around the park for a time and then go for a ride on the train. You can still walk a little more after disembarking the train. It can become very hot in the park in summer so sure to bring along a good sunscreen. And do not forget to drink lots of water to prevent dehydration in the scorching summer in California.

San Wild Diego Animal Park is located 32 miles north of Escondido in San Diego. The area is in the park is peaceful and serene, making it a better place for animals residents. The San Diego Zoological Society runs the operations and management of this park and the San Diego Zoo, which is popular worldwide. With Zoo and Park, the Zoological Society does an excellent job preserving the wildlife that is on the verge of extinction, and the creation awareness among people about the diversity of animal life.
