grassland biome
Biome – distinctive group of living things in the world around us
Ecologically speaking biome is a regional group of animals or plants that have their own distinctive features. The planet Earth has differing environments. Such variations in temperature, light, humidity, and various other factors. In each these environments have different way of life has developed. Each of these factors has created complex communities that contain individual agencies. These sites are communities complex place of birth, where either of plants or animals are life forms are called biomes.
Characteristics of biomes
Different biomes are available on planet earth are interesting species. Overall there are six species of biomes in the world. These are?
• Deserts;
• Tropical forests;
• temperate deciduous forests;
• Grasslands;
• Taiga, and
• Tundra.
Biome faster growth – the deserts
Deserts have so far been the fastest growing in the biome of the earth. With an average temperature of -5 0 C to 30 0 C and low rainfall for a year, with less biodiversity. The deserts are hot during the day and very cold at night and are never the ideal place to live. The lack of water and the development of some nasty creatures, make it rather difficult to survive there. Special kind of life that survives in the environment, is the cactus which is waxy and holds little water available. It also has thorns that prevent the escape of water which is powerful in the trees with leaves.
Other Extreme – Tropical Rain Forest
Just across the deserts character is the rainforest where the average temperature of 18 0-30 0 degrees Celsius. Rainfall ranges from 250 to 450 cm on average. More biodiversity, which are home to large amount of poisonous elements. More than three million species of insects living in these forests. plants and animals in the area are prominent orchid, mahogany, rubber plants and ferns among frogs, boas, anacondas, etc. are common animals.
Temperate deciduous forest
An environment of balance between the two extremes, temperate deciduous forest has an average temperature of 00 to 20 0 C. Part of U.S. Northeast is the best example of such forests. deciduous plants left out in the fall and the deer, grouse, gray squirrels, rabbits and squirrels are animals in this category.
Grasslands, and tundra Taiga
largest terrestrial biome, grasslands have an average temperature -7 0 0 -20 degrees Celsius. The taiga and tundra is characterized by evergreen forests and frost and snow, respectively.
