'09 Music Festival Fundraising Goals:
Join our team of visionaries, leaders, challenge solvers,
contributors, volunteers, musicians and performers, sustainability
coordinators, media and transportation partners, guest speakers
and conservation groups. Our goal and mission is to raise environmental
awareness and to stop deforestation of our precious rainforest and
to protect the air we breathe!
This fund raiser is about the air we breathe which is at risk, and
some of us are fortunate enough to live, vacation here in Costa
Rica, and we are all part of this delicate eco-system called the
rainforest. We live in an area where we can make a difference! Your
non for profit cause, purpose and the ability to broadcast your
message internationally is a powerful tool.
We’ll find lots of volunteers along the way, and many, like
me, who just want to bring some great live music down to the Osa
in a renewable and sustainable way. RainforestAid09 is good for
the Osa, and with your help, it could be even better and possibly
a global example of sustainable festivals & eco- tourism and
a fabulous way to raise money to preserve our environment here on
the Osa.
A first annual event of global attention. But it can only be accomplished
with your support. We will raise millions for the preservation of
culture & bio diversity
Rainforest

diverse habitats when you support RainforestAid 09.
The Osa Peninsula is a sanctuary of beautiful rainforests, rivers
, streams and gorgeous beaches that melt into the Golfo Dulce. The
lands and waters of the Osa are home to some of nature’s most
colorful and graceful animals, including scarlet macaws, jaguars,
pumas, monkeys and sea turtles. www.corcovadofoundation.org

The above non-profit organizations are doing great things on the
Osa Peninsula today In addition to these fundraising objectives,
it is our mission to raise funds annually for all non-profit charitable
causes that help preserve culture, diversity & stop deforestation
in Southern Costa Rica. Today is your opportunity to show support
and add your special conservation project to our list and be a part
of our festival fundraiser and help empower and educate the world
on the importance of our precious rainforests, and to help protect
the oxygen we breathe. Expanding urban areas, improved transportation
and un-sustainable developments are threatening the Osa’s
precious natural resources. Farmers, hunters, developers, gold miners
and tourists are flocking to this once isolated land, and the Osa’s
majestic forests are being cut down. Illegal logging, poaching,
and poorly planned development are endangering the region’s
majestic forests. Support RainforestAid09 and help stop deforestation
on the Osa today !
