GETTING TO COSTA RICA
Costa Rica is only 2 hours and 40 minutes from Miami Intl. Airport and getting around the country is easy! RainForestAid09 is taking place in Costa Rica's Southern Zone near the town of Puerto Jimenez in Costa Rica's most biodiverse region. Rainforest Aid is offering transportation from Costa Rica's Captial City of San Jose to Puerto Jimenez.

After taking a short 45 minute flight (or bus ride) from San Jose, the festival site is located 6 kilometres south of LA PALMA and 17 kilometres north of Pureto Jimenez, Costa Rica. See Area Hotels

Transportation
R/T Chartered Bus service from Alajuela is available and those wishing to fly are encouraged to fly with Nature Air (50% off with festival pass). People choosing to rent cars are encouraged to car pool. RFA09 Shuttle will run at 6am.- 9 pm. ( every 3 hours ) transportation from festival to La Palma, Beach, Canyasa Pier and to and from Puerto Jimenez. All chartered buses and planes will assist in the transfer of recyclable goods back to San Jose.

Rainforestaid09 on The Osa Peninsula is a “Fun” Raiser and gives us “One Voice “ and the ability to communicate globally about the important role the rainforest plays in controlling the world’s climate, temperature, water and air quality. Through Music, Art and Education, we will show by examples of how we can reduce and manage our waste, educate our children and help existing conservation organizations stop deforestation.
