Climate Rainforests

climate rainforests

Where I can see the rainforest in Australia?

There have been forests in Queensland tropical mountains for over 100 million years. Even during the last glaciation, when the climate was much drier, small pockets survived in mountain ravines and other moist areas. When the Ice Age ended about 15,000 years, increased rainfall and forest areas expanded to cover much larger.

Australia's rainforests have survived from the time when flowering plants first appeared on Earth and are home to an amazing variety of species. The forests of Europe and North America from the date of 15,000 years ago and are only poor in comparison. Its plants and animals are just arrivals who moved north to colonize land donated by the retreating glaciers of the Ice Age.

Like the Great Barrier Reef, tropical rainforests are havens. They are places where a lush forest gives way to another in quick succession. Walking along a forest track and ravines will stack with the palms thin. Later, you come to trees with large buttress roots. Turn a corner and see trees decorated with orchids. Iridescent butterflies flit in the gaps. Ferns cling to the branches. Waterfalls rocks. Tree ferns tower above your head and line your path ancient cycads.
Forest birds are as colorful as butterflies. Many have the shrill voices of the filmmakers to use their forest movies. You can imagine swinging Tarzan and Jane in jungle vines.

tropical forest begins near Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales and the patches of coastal mountains points all the way up Cape York for Independence. You can visit the rainforests of the Gold Coast, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Hinchinbrook, Cairns and Daintree to name a few places. I either started off on the wrong foot or I’m the legendry rolling stone. Normally, a degree in astrophysics does not lead to a stint in Parliament House, public relations, backpacker resorts and the diving industry.  But that’s what happened to me.  I’m now retired in the sense that I no longer need to work for a living and that gives me a lot of time for travelling and writing.

tropical rainforest climate, fewer man-eating leopards?

As much as I love leopards really can not sustain life around them, so so my question remains: Where are some cities that have warm temperatures (at least 70 degrees F), but also get a good rainfall so that's not all dry? Yes I know it's a difficult question, but please help! I am willing to travel anywhere that speaks English or French.

Consider Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, other islands in that area, and francophone West Africa.
